“People collect things, I collect moments.”

A sequence of spaces and visual languages representing different stages in me when I first arrived in Melbourne. Feelings that I could not describe by words so I captured them into photographs.

It all started with architecture photography when I felt lonely and isolated. At that point of time, the world is not as beautiful as it is supposed to be. Then after when I got settled down, my eyes could see things brighter with colors and I was attracted by the beautiful landscapes. However, it was soon replaced by the sorrow and homesickness. It is good to meet new people but it makes me miss the old faces. Therefore, the memories captured turned back into black and white photographs.
